Be sexy!

A lot of people think being sexy is based on appearance; that perfect representation of what a man or woman should look like, as promoted in the media, movies etc. It will vary of course from culture to culture but regardless we all are subjected to be brainwashed by that narrative. We then fall into holding ourselves against that reference and very few of us ever attain those standards of fleeting youth and beauty.

Thankfully that is not the right definition of being sexy or by extension, having sex appeal. It is far more an attitude than anything else. Someone who is comfortable with their sexuality and their body will exude sexiness. In the end, it’s all about confidence, a state of mind and how you carry yourself. Anyone can be sexy regardless of age, race, gender, physical attributes or looks.

Remember, you can’t please everyone or in this case seduce or appeal to everyone but no matter your shape, size, looks somebody somewhere will be into you!

It starts with loving yourself as you are. That means recognizing your assets and accepting your quirks and not being diminished by your flaws (be them real or perceived). No one is perfect and most of us would love to change something about our appearance if we could. Many women let themselves down over issues they have with their appearance. Be kind to yourself and don’t sell yourself short. You are worthy of all things beautiful that you desire.

Whether you have a beautiful smile, you know how to dress, you have perfect teeth, fabulous hair, amazing tattoos, you have a quirky sense of humor or a contagious laugh, you know how to cook or to sing or you’re a great flirt, you are clever with the written word, you always smell nice, you have a naughty mind, you are super smart, you carry a large booty that would make the envy of an African Goddess, or maybe not much breasts but the most sensitive nipples in the world etc. Whatever it is, see it for what it is and run with it!

If you’re not sure, ask your partner, friends, siblings, family members they will tell you what they like about you and what makes you special.

Embrace your unique gifts and strengths, elevate yourself and let your true self shine. Love yourself and love your body. (not to say that you should be complacent with yourself either, if you want to change unhealthy behaviors or bad habits do it!)

Just be kind to yourself and start now.

You deserve to be loved and worshiped no matter what.

Be sexy!
